I'm sorry, there is nothing we can do right!

My friends and clients are sick of me complaining, I am sick of complaining, my husband is furious... my new turbo loaded computer needs to go away.   My files are huge, I take too many pictures...yah, I get it I store a lot but "I need it all!"  So my IT manager, aka Dr. David Katz, ordered me a new computer with a solid state drive that I am just starting to understand and it should be the "be all" for the next few years for KatzDesignGroup.  I load my thousands of dollars worth of software onto the computer and it freezes up and crashes non-stop.

but really... its for work

"I don't always get distracted on Pinterest, but when I do, it's when I am accidently going through my own pins and saying, "Damn this person is awesome!" -random pin from Pinterest.  Ok, I have found the best way of bookmarking for product and images for clients and fun stuff for me! I must say, my Pinterest pages are a work of art. I am so excited I have made boards that I can email to clients, share with friends and save for projects to come.  Hard to believe  I have 129 boards and 2,783 pins?  52 ada sconces to pick from!

overstimulated

This is my favorite trade show. 65 minute flight to Vegas and a short cab ride to Mandalay Bay gets me to the HD show by 10:00 am!  Saw great new innovative products from around the globe. Beautiful furniture, lighting and fabrics starting from Robert Allen (won best of show) plus I got to see my fabulous cousins; Sue, Michael, and Brian Trump! I feel like I have reloaded my arsenal giving me a design advantage.  Posted 70+ pictures of new trends on my facebook page. Check it out and let me know what you think.

making it fun

Just a quick shot of a backsplash KDG designed for a corporate headquarters in North Scottsdale. The client had a piece of art glass that he liked and we found an accent tile that matched the color.  Love these iridescent circles. Dark green recessed grout made them standout nicely. Cabinets were in a dark mocha finish. Waiting for the millwork install and new furniture.  More to come…

Hmm.. I am thinking about training for a fall triathlon. I have done the Tri-family sports 4th of July Sprint in the past but I think I am ready to go for more. So why am I writing about triathlons on my KatzDesignGroup page? We just completed the new Destination Kona Triathlon Store at the Scottsdale Promenade. They feel the market need to have a physical presence in the Arizona market. Incredible new products and nutrition consulting on premise. Spend freely!
